Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding born on December 30, 1986 Hereford, England) is a English singer-songwriter. Ellie Goulding's infectious electronic sound swiftly brought her to the top charts once she drew the attention of the public in 2010. Her ability to do this with the singles "Starry Eyed", and "Guns and Horses". Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding stands out as a contemporary artist with her singing voice that is soprano and the ability of making songs that are engaging and emotional. She is similar in many ways to Kate Bush, Imogen Heap and other artists similar to her.
