Katherine Jean Bolduan, also popularly known as Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist from the United States. Her most well-known role is the anchor of the CNN morning program At This Hour. She was also the co-anchor of CNN's Monday morning shows New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan is a member of CNN's award-winning presidential election coverage for 2012. Bolduan has also been a congressional correspondent based at Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan's reporting on congressional activities and events during her time as an official of the Capitol Hill Unit included the negotiation to increase the limit on debt for the US and deliberations by the super-committee. Bolduan has worked as a correspondent for general assignments. She has covered events like the Christmas Day 2009 bombing attempt and the Supreme Court's landmark decision in the case of Obamacare. She also covered the introduction of stimulus plans in 2009. She became a CNN Newsource national reporter in the year 2007.
