Niykee is a songwriter and songwriter who, even with her hectic career, has kept her routine. Some of her personal highlights included her being picked by Snoop dogg to become his private assistant at the YouTube Brandcast event in May 2013. At present, she is a magnet to aspiring producers, she regularly combs through beats sent her way and realizes that most result in sparking ideas for songs. I can tell if a beat is excellent after just five seconds. Then I'll have a song in my head and start writing right away she tells. When I sit at my front porch, playing guitar, the lyrics just come out and can be completed in less than thirty minutes. Niykee has found that her pain in the past provides endless sources of inspiration. Even when I'm not writing directly about events that have occurred to me, the hurt of growing up and losing my sister ends up getting pushed into my music she says. This influences my music and builds this deeper understanding behind all things that's an important thing for me. I want to be able to say that I can listen to any one of my songs 20 years later and be proud of what I wrote.
