Simone Biles
Simone Biles was an American gymnast who was born on March 14, 1997 in the city of Columbus, Ohio. She is considered by many to be among the top gymnasts. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) took them in as adoptees. The Biles family grew up in Houston's metropolitan area. Simone was first introduced to gymnastics by her daycare instructor Aimee Borman at 6 years old. She stayed at Bannon's Gymnastix for 11 years. Biles was a winner in the vault and floor exercises at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships before becoming an highest level of competition in 2011. Within two years, she been the best in this particular discipline. Biles distinguished herself by being consistently consistent and having a lively energy and joyful personality. She also integrated an extreme amount of difficulty into all her events vaulting uneven bar floor exercises.
